Radcliff, Kentucky and Munster, Germany have been in partnership as Sister
Cities for over 21 years. Each spring, students from our community travel
to Munster for two weeks, living with German host families experiencing
the culture of the area and participating in local events and activities.
In return, student ambassadors from Munster visit Radcliff for three
weeks in the summer, and participate in activities arranged by the
Radcliff Sister City Committee. These events may include a trip
to Frankfort to meet legislators, Kentucky Kingdom, Mammoth Cave,
Fort Knox, baseball games, etc.
The camaraderie fostered by these visits is invaluable in the world-wide
scheme of communities and countries relating to each other. Sister City
Programs such as ours promotes life-long friendships and create ties
between students and families of each country.
If you would like to help with this program by volunteering or by making
