The Radcliff Police Department was established in 1956. At that time all law enforcement duties were carried out by one constable. And, in 1963 the number of personnel grew to a total of three full time sworn police officers.
In 1974, there were a total of twenty full time employees, to include: seven patrol officers, four school guards, one records clerk and one Chief of Police.
Twenty-three years later, the Police Department has grown to forty-one sworn officers, three records clerks, nine telecommunicators, one evidence/property custodian and one administrative assistant to the Chief of Police. |
